The signing of legally binding documents for the deal is expected in the upcoming weeks.

ZENIT Bank acted as an M&A consultant for the transaction.

AzatBikmurzin, Director of the petrochemical complex of Tatneft:

“We are happy that such a modern enterprise will become a part of TATNEFT Group. Ekopet products are in great demand and hold a stable position in the market.

We are confident that this asset will allow TATNEFT to fill in the missing link in the chain from the feedstock producer to the end consumer, as well as to use this site for further development of petrochemical plants".
